On February 18th, the European Football Academy Okinawa (EFAO) U/10 team participated in the Sol de Mare Tournament at Comprehensive Park.
The tournament brought together young soccer players from various clubs across Okinawa for two days of competitive play. The EFAO team showed up with a positive attitude and strong teamwork, which helped them secure a first-place finish on the first day of the tournament.
On the second day, the team continued to play with great enthusiasm and spirit, but unfortunately lost in the semifinals. Despite the loss, the EFAO team's hard work and dedication earned them a fourth-place finish out of 24 teams in the tournament.
Throughout the competition, the EFAO players demonstrated their technical abilities, tactical awareness, and sportsmanship, impressing both opponents and spectators alike. Their ability to work together as a team and support each other on and off the field was a testament to their strong character and positive attitude.
Overall, the Sol de Mare Tournament was a great opportunity for young soccer players to showcase their skills and compete against other talented teams.
